Works on Fabric, NeoForge, Forge and Quilt — every loader and game version has its own tested build.

Installation

  1. 1

    Install Fabric Loader

    Run the installer from fabricmc.net for your Minecraft version (or create a Fabric profile in your launcher).

  2. 2

    Add Fabric API

    Put the Fabric API jar for your Minecraft version into .minecraft/mods.

  3. 3

    Add CloakMC

    Download CloakMC below for your loader and version, and put the jar into .minecraft/mods.

  4. 4

    Start Minecraft

    Launch the profile for your loader from your launcher.

  5. 5

    Press Esc → Capes

    Open the pause menu and click the cape icon (or press N).

CloakMC is client-side only: servers don't need it installed. Only players using CloakMC can see CloakMC capes.
